Kurdish Diaspora in the UK Awarded Prestigious Honor
In a formal ceremony held in Birmingham, the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization was presented with the 14th Annual Community Inspiration Award.
The Kurdish Intellectuals Organization in the UK announced that during a formal event in Birmingham—attended by Paul Faulkner, Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands and representative of the King of the United Kingdom—the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization was awarded the 14th Annual Community Inspiration Award 2026.
The organization noted that during the presentation of the award, Dr. Gova Ahmed, President of the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization, wearing traditional Kurdish clothing, was called to the stage first among the group to receive the award.
This award is organized annually by the Community Foundation, featuring competition across all of England, and was presented to participants by senior officials from the UK government, parliament, and police force.
The Supreme Council of the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization reaffirmed that this award is the result of a professional evaluation by a high committee regarding their activities, while dedicating this achievement to the entire Kurdish diaspora in the UK.

ڕێکخراوی ڕۆشنبیرانی کورد لە بەریتانیا ئاماژەی بەوە کرد، لە چوارچێوەی بەخشینی خەڵاتەکەدا، د. گۆڤە ئەحمەد، سەرۆکی ڕێکخراوی ڕۆشنبیرانی کورد بە پۆشینی جلی کوردییەوە وەک یەکەمی گروپەکە بانگهێشتی سەر شانۆ کرا بۆ وەرگرتنی خەڵاتەکە.
ئەم خەڵاتە ساڵانە لەلایەن دامەزراوەی (Community Foundation)ەوە ڕێک دەخرێت و کێبڕکێی تێیدا لەسەر ئاستی تەواوی ئینگلتەرایە، لەلایەن بەرپرسانی باڵای حکومەت، پەرلەمان و پۆلیسی بەریتانیاوە پێشکەشی بەشداربووان کرا.
ئەنجوومەنی باڵای ڕێکخراوی ڕۆشنبیرانی کورد دووپاتی کردەوە، ئەم خەڵاتە بەرهەمی هەڵسەنگاندنی پیشەییی لیژنەیەکی باڵایە بۆ کار و چالاکییەکانیان، هاوکات دەستکەوتەکەیان پێشکەش بە تەواوی ڕەوەندی کوردی لە بەریتانیا کرد.
