KCO Organizes Commemoration Ceremony for Martyr Ghazal Mawlan in Birmingham

The Kurdish Intellectuals Organization (KCO) hosted a formal commemoration ceremony in the city of Birmingham to honor the memory of Martyr Ghazal Mawlan. The event commenced with an official statement from the organization and a presentation of the martyr’s biography, highlighting her legacy and sacrifices.

The gathering was attended by representatives of political parties from East Kurdistan (Rojhelat), prominent political figures from the West (Rojava) and South (Bashur), as well as delegates from the Komala Party of Toilers, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), PJAK, and members of the press.

During the speeches, participants collectively condemned the inhumane treatment Martyr Ghazal faced when medical care was withheld from her, calling for an urgent and serious investigation into the circumstances. Additionally, the ceremony paid tribute to the three heroic Peshmerga of the Democratic Party who were martyred in recent days due to bombardments by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
