As part of the ongoing work and activities of the Kurdish Cultural Organization – Environmental Center,
during a beautiful spring campaign, we began planting various flowers and flower seeds with the participation of enthusiastic children.
This activity was carried out by the Kurdish Cultural Organization (KCO), particularly its Environmental Center. Such activities are part of continuous efforts to protect the environment and raise community awareness about nature.
In this campaign, the main activity was planting flowers and seeds. This is not only for beautifying places, but it also has significant environmental benefits, such as:
• Adding color and enhancing the natural appearance of areas
• Improving the surrounding air quality
• Supporting the life of insects and small animals
The participation of children in this activity was very important, because:
• Children learn about environmental protection from an early age
• A sense of responsibility is developed in them
• They build a strong connection with nature
As mentioned, the children happily took part and expressed their joy. This shows that when activities are presented in a suitable and engaging way, children participate with enthusiasm.
At the same time, Gova Ahmed, as the head of the organization, highlighted the importance of the environment. He pointed out that:
• Protecting the environment is not an individual task
• Everyone needs to work together
• We all must feel responsible towards the environment
In conclusion, this activity is not just a temporary event, but the beginning of a long-term vision to build an environmentally friendly community. If such efforts continue, they can create real change in people’s behavior and help build a cleaner and greener environment for the future 🌱
