Journalist Jutyar Rasul Reported Missing: Growing Concerns Over His Fate

Kurdish intellectuals in the UK are calling for the fate of the journalist to be revealed as soon as possible

Concerns are mounting regarding the disappearance of a “Paytakht Media” reporter.

For more than 24 hours, journalist Jutyar Rasul, a reporter for the Paytakht Media Foundation, has been missing, and all contact with him has been severed. According to reports, he left his home at 11:00 AM on April 28 and has not returned since.

Background and Residence

Jutyar Rasul is a prominent and active journalist with extensive experience in Kurdish media. His professional career includes roles as:

• Producer at NRT TV.

• News Writer at Zoom News.

• Most recently, a Reporter for Paytakht Media.

After living in Sulaymaniyah for several years, he recently moved back to his hometown in the Raparion/Qaladiza region to care for his mother, while continuing his journalistic work from there.

Disappearance Details

According to friends and close associates, Jutyar left his residence yesterday for an unknown reason—potentially for travel or a journalistic assignment. However, there has been no news of him since. It has been noted that security forces have yet to release any information regarding his whereabouts or status.

Friends, fellow journalists, and security agencies are urged to come forward with any information regarding Jutyar’s location. Anyone with credible details is asked to immediately contact his family or the relevant authorities to end this uncertainty.
