Senior Delegation from Kurdistan Freedom Movement Visits Kurdish Clerisy Organisation

the Kurdish Clerisy Organisation warmly welcomed a senior delegation from the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement (Tevgera Azadî) at its main headquarters in West Bromwich.

The visiting delegation, arriving from Europe, included Mr. Heval Omer (Co-chair of Tevgera Azadî), Ms. Heval Peyman, Dr. Mariwan, Dr. Sirwe, and Mr. Heval Ali. They were formally received by Mr. Gova Ahmed (President of the Kurdish Clerisy Organisation), Mr. Aras Bilbas (Secretary of the Organisation), and Mr. Bakir (Head of the Social Centre).

Emphasis on Supporting Peace and Freedom

During a cordial and productive meeting, discussions centred on the general situation in Kurdistan and the importance of national unity. Both parties stressed the significance of supporting the peace process in North Kurdistan (Bakur), defining it as a national duty for all Kurdish people.

The dialogue also highlighted the necessity of backing campaigns for the freedom of Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, Mr. Selahattin Demirtaş, Ms. Figen Yüksekdağ, and all political prisoners. The role of the Kurdish diaspora in these efforts was described as crucial, with the national and patriotic struggle defined as the responsibility of every Kurd.

Strengthening Relations and Joint Cooperation

The visiting delegation commended the work and activities of the Kurdish Clerisy Organisation, praising its role as an impartial body dedicated to raising awareness and fostering development within the Kurdish community.

In turn, the Kurdish Clerisy Organisation. expressed its readiness for all forms of future collaboration and coordination, aiming to strengthen ties and expand services for the Kurdish community in the UK.
