The Kurdish Intellectuals Organization, in cooperation with the Dakok Organization, held a memorial ceremony in the city of Birmingham to commemorate the Halabja tragedy.
As part of honoring the symbol of Kurdish suffering and remembering the martyrs of the chemical attack on Halabja, the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization, together with the Dakok Organization, organized a ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of Halabja.
The event began with a moment of silence for the pure souls of the martyrs. Afterwards, a short theatrical performance titled “A Few Minutes Before Death” was presented.
Following that, several speeches were delivered.
As a gesture of respect for the martyrs, a wreath of flowers was laid at the statue of Omar Khawar.
During the ceremony, which was organized by the Kurdish Intellectuals Organization in cooperation with the Dakok Organization, Dr. Gova Ahmad delivered a speech highlighting the dimensions of the Halabja catastrophe and the suffering of the Kurdish people. At the same time, it served as a tribute to the spirits of the martyrs.
It is worth mentioning that the ceremony was attended by members of the Kurdish community, who participated and contributed to the event.
Thousands of greetings to the pure souls of the martyrs of Halabja and all the martyrs of Kurdistan.
