Two African Organisations Visit Kurdish Culture Organisation to Strengthen Ties Between African and Kurdish Peoples
Today, Monday 11th August 2025, at the headquarters of the Kurdish Culture Organisation, Mr Govah Ahmed (President of the organisation) and Professor Bakr Mawati (member of the High Council and head of the social centre) warmly welcomed leaders and representatives from two African organisations:
* Afrecan Community in the UK
* African Lady Community
During the meeting, the organisation representatives expressed their delight at the visit and held friendly discussions about cooperation between the organisations, solidarity between Kurdish and African communities, and similar activities. Plans for future joint initiatives to strengthen relations were also discussed.
This visit represented an important opportunity to establish new connections between the Kurdish Culture Organisation and international organisations. Notably, these African organisations represent their communities in Sandwell Council, where the Kurdish Culture Organisation also represents the Kurdish nation.
