Within living societies, cultural organizations play a fundamental role in illuminating the path of thought and knowledge, deepening public awareness, and shaping a society with a broader vision and horizon. Kurdish CLERISY Organization, as an independent and non-profit civil organization, was established in this regard and for many years at home and abroad, alongside the Kurdish people, in a tireless effort to serve the intellectual, cultural and social fields. Our organization includes a group of dedicated and experienced academics, writers, artists, journalists, and researchers, who work with a spirit of zeal to achieve its high goals.

Our Vision and Message:

Our Vision: To build a conscious, enlightened, and progressive Kurdish society in which individuals have critical thinking and actively participate in comprehensive development processes.
Our message: Actively work to raise the level of culture and knowledge in Kurdish society, preserve and develop Kurdish language, culture, and art, defend fundamental rights, strengthen the role of women, and support Kurdish refugees and immigrants through various activities and ongoing projects. Also, trying to build a strong bridge between the Kurdish people and other nations of the world.

Our History and Legal Status:

Kurdish CLERISY Organization, with a rich culture of service, was established on 12/3/2005 by a number of loyal and caring personalities in the field of culture. The trend of growth and expansion of our activities has been as follows:

In 2019, we were officially registered in the Kurdistan Region, as an important step to strengthen our legal position in the country.

In 2020, as a non-profit organisation, we launched our work and activities in the UK, which became a major base for expanding the scope of our services.

In 2024, we are proud to have registered our UK license number 1206887, which has given us more opportunities to develop our business significantly internationally.

Today, our scope of work and activities is not limited to the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom, but we are proudly present in other European and American countries and are constantly trying to further expand our service network.

Our strategic objectives:

Within the framework of its vision and general message, the Kurdish CLERISY Organization has defined a number of strategic goals that it works to achieve:

1. Developing public awareness and critical culture: through organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and open discussions on current social, cultural, and intellectual issues.

2- Preservation and development of Kurdish language and culture: ** Special attention to teaching Kurdish language, especially for Kurdish children and new generation abroad, as well as introducing and celebrating Kurdish culture, traditions, and rich culture.

3- Supporting the field of education and scientific research: assisting Kurdish students and researchers, providing academic guidance, and encouraging research projects that serve science and knowledge.

4- Paying attention to talented youth and children: Identifying and assisting talented youth and children in various fields, and providing the necessary platforms and opportunities to develop and advance their abilities.

5- Developing children’s educational awareness: Working on raising the awareness of parents and educators about new and correct methods of educating children and the importance of a favorable environment for their comprehensive development.

6- Defending human rights and strengthening the principles of democracy: Working to consolidate human rights, especially women’s rights and providing them with equal opportunities in all areas of life, as well as raising awareness among citizens about their rights and duties.

7- Supporting freedom of expression and condemning violations: Our organization strongly defends the right to freedom of expression and condemns any violation of human rights and freedom of opinion and writing.

We firmly believe that individuals should be able to think, write, and express their views freely, as a fundamental principle for an open and democratic society.

8- Supporting refugees and legal awareness: Provide necessary assistance and advice to Kurdish refugees, especially those who have just arrived in foreign countries, through legal and expert teams. Organize conferences and seminars to raise awareness about the laws of the countries of residence, especially in the areas of crime and violence, and encourage them to abide by the law and avoid any illegal activities.

9- Development of Kurdish art and literature: Encouraging and supporting Kurdish writers, poets and artists, and working for the publication of literary and artistic works, as well as organizing exhibitions, festivals and concerts.

10. Raising health awareness: Working to disseminate accurate information about disease prevention and the dangers of drugs and smoking.

11. Promoting animal welfare awareness: Spread awareness about the importance of humane treatment of animals and protection of their rights, and encourage society to show compassion and affection towards them.

12. Developing environmental awareness: Working to raise the level of awareness of individuals and society about the importance of protecting the environment, keeping it clean, and reducing the negative effects of pollution on life and health.

13- Building bridges of cultural communication: Introducing Kurdish culture and civilization to other nations of the world and strengthening relations with international cultural organizations.

– Several awareness seminars and workshops: Organizing awareness activities about the dangers of drugs, consequences of violence, the importance of law enforcement, principles of proper child education, animal rights, environmental protection, and the importance of freedom of expression.

– Artistic and talented support: Establishment of departments dedicated to sculpture and other fields of art, and supporting artists and talented people to exhibit their work and develop their abilities.

– Public Library: Opening a rich library at our headquarters in the UK, which contains thousands of book titles and is open to everyone.
